The EDM 950 monitors the aircraft engine parameters roughly 180 times a minute and will warn the pilot the moment any parameter exceeds the pre-programmed limit.

The analog temperature display are in the form of electronic bar graph i.e one vertical column per cylinder.

It follows a helical flow path, and exits vertically, thereby venting vapor bubbles that might form during the Fuel Flow Indicators.
